Job Summary   :

The job purpose of this role is to be responsible for managing end to end employee life cycle and driving the human resources function as a keen strategic business HR of the hotel.

Illustrative Responsibilities   :

Talent Acquisition and Retention

  • Adhering to the HR SOP guidelines
  • Ensure timely execution of hiring cycle as per the defined TAT
  • Ensure complete documentation/ necessary approvals are in place for all the hiring(s) done
  • Ensure completion on the new joinee onboarding exercise as per the defined TAT
  • Seeking timely feedback from the employee and employee&rsquos reporting manager (From employee to understand how has the transition phase/ experience been and from the Manager, seeking employee&rsquos performance feedback)

Talent Management, Engagement and Training and Development

  • Adhering and executing the Talent management framework at the centre
  • Driving various employee engagement survey(s) at the centre
  • Planning and executing various employee engagement programs
  • Anchoring skip level meetings, town halls and R&R programs
  • Designing, driving and executing annual training calendar
  • Seeking timely feedback from the participants and manager(s) post the training sessions

Performance Management System and communication

  • Conducting necessary briefings to the employees on the PMS process / cycle
  • Ensuring completion of the PMS cycle at timely set intervals (goal settings, mid-year review, final assessment)
  • Handholding employees in completing the PMS cycle / process
  • Assisting in the normalization and closure of the annual performance evaluation / compensation review exercise
  • Ensure timely sharing of the information / communication(s) with the employee(s) (policies and process, amendments / changes in the existing policies, management communication(s) etc.)

Compensation and benefits, operations management, Insurance, Compliance and administration

  • Provide timely payroll inputs
  • Maintaining / updating the leave tracker
  • Managing end to end documentation and benefits administration
  • Responsible for complete insurance management (policy renewal, endorsements, claims settlements, etc.)
  • Overseeing complete administration
  • Ensure timely completion of the statutory requirements
  • Ensure employee(s) are educated about the various grievance management policies and process and also ensure employee grievances are timely addressed

Additional Assignment

  • Timely completion of the additional assignment as and when assigned

Relationship Management

  • Maintain effective relationship with government and other agencies for necessary statutory compliance
  • Effectively manage relationship with internal employees

MIS, Reporting

  • Prepare necessary attrition analysis
  • Upkeep employee files, Keeping records of various details, programs
  • Timely updating employee database
  • Monthly / quarterly report/ presentation to the management on overall Human Resources management

Team Management

  • Ensure effective execution of the team members KRAs / KPIs
  • Provide timely resolution / guidance when required

Team and Self-Development

  • Ensure timely updation of the required skills
  • Attending relevant forums / seminar for market updates / intelligence
Required Skills   :
  • Well written and spoken English
  • Understanding of the working of a hotel
  • Strong in Talent Acquisition and good understanding of the HR Generalist role
Required Qualification   :
  • Hotel Management graduate will be an added advantage
  • Graduation from any stream
  • Work experience in Hotel is a must as an HR , at least for minimum 3 years
Reporting to   : VP, HR
