Job Summary   :

The job purpose of this role is to spearhead and oversee the Centre Marketing function for VR Chennai Centre. The position will be responsible for conceptualizing and overseeing execution of marketing activities / events, promotions and commercialization to ensure VR brand visibility, drive relevant footfall and achieving marketing revenue targets for the center.

Illustrative Responsibilities   :
  • Forecasting financial operating budgets for the centre marketing function and ensure the set operating budgets are met
  • Lead the marketing team via strategizing and executing sound strategies towards achieving marketing targets through continuous events, sponsorships and retail relations
  • Ensure the marketing SOPs, reporting and escalation matric are in place and the guidelines are adhered to
  • Strategizing and driving annual marketing plans for centre
  • Building strategic marketing plans with the view of enhancing revenue and expansion of business plan
  • Oversee marketing through advertising, promotions, website, digital & social media and visual merchandising, magazine, newsletter in order to enhance the branding and positioning
  • Devise and oversee execution of the marketing strategies to counter competition and attract customers with unique value propositions and building brand equity
  • Ensure on-going market intelligence data is available to develop new marketing strategies and close the feedback loop
  • Work with the digital marketing team and implement the center marketing initiatives and activations to publicize on the various digital media platforms including retailer and event activations
  • Creating and Implementing special retailer promotion and cross selling and upselling opportunities at center

Required Qualification   :
  • Must have 08+ years of progressive experience in Operations, preferably from a high growth organization from Retail Shopping Centres, Retail, Hospitality and Consumer Service / Facing organisations.
  • Proven ability to identify and develop robust plans for profitable business growth.
  • Strong ability to negotiate with and manage key accounts and partners successfully.
  • The equivalent of a Master's degree in Marketing.
